I will definately try that. The winter can be so long and drawn out. Sometimes when it is too cold outside I bring the snow in and put it in some medium sized shallow rubbermaid containers. The children put their mitts on and away they go! You can put food colouring in it, use shovels and scoops etc. In the fall I do the same thing with leaves.
